A 25-km stage that takes you on a journey through the Rosanais region. Along the way, the Cluniac priory of Saint-André-de-Rosans offers a glimpse into Provençal Romanesque art, featuring superb carved friezes and 12th-century mosaics.

Description

Leave the beautiful fortified village of Rosans and head toward the Priory of Saint-André-de-Rosans, a former Cluniac priory listed as a Historic Monument. This Provençal Romanesque building features carved friezes and 12th-century mosaics, identical to those at the Ganagobie Monastery.
Continue through the Rosanais basin to Montjay, where a sundial dating from 1777 adorns the façade of a house.
It is recommended to spend the night a little further north, in Vaucluse, a charming village surrounded by large, rolling woodlands that are very cool and ideal for mushroom hunting.
  • Departure : Rosans
  • Arrival : Vaucluse hamlet
  • Towns crossed : Rosans, Saint-André-de-Rosans, Sorbiers, and Montjay
