This 14-kilometer stage connects Sisteron to Saint-Geniez.
From the banks of the Durance, the route climbs gently after passing the small bell tower of the convent, following a peaceful road that skirts the Rocher de la Beaume to the north. Very soon, a superb, unobstructed view opens up, showcasing the famous Citadel of Sisteron.

The path alternates between trails and tracks, entering the heart of a wild valley as it follows the route of the GR 6 and the Way of St. James. After crossing the Col de Mézien via a small road, the route passes by the Saint-Pierre des Naux Chapel, located in the town of Entrepierres.

Beneath the cliffs of Aigues Champs, imposing rock formations dominate the landscape. A trail then leads to the charming and authentic village of Saint-Geniez, where calm and serenity reign.
