This 12-kilometer stage, starting in Barret-sur-Méouge, takes hikers from the Val de Méouge to the Orpierre area, located on the other side of the Montagne de Chabre and renowned for its rock climbing.

With a steady climb, the first half of the route leads to the Col de Saint-Ange and its sublime view of the valley. The second half of the route, quite rugged and often through the forest, reaches Orpierre via a winding but pleasant descent with a panoramic view of its majestic cliffs.
