A 4-day, 100-kilometer journey on horseback to discover beautiful hidden valleys

Description

Mountain ridges and breathtaking panoramas invite riders to enjoy long gallops before exploring the refreshing Méouge Gorges and the Durance Valley. 
Throughout this ride, discover the southern part of this region, with its three rivers and hilltop villages offering magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.
This journey takes you sometimes across the plains through wide-open spaces, sometimes into the mountains, where vast alpine pastures and numerous lookouts await visitors!

  • This trail is marked in two colors: yellow where it follows PR trails and white-red where it follows the GR 94 and 91 (equestrian markers will still be present).
  • The Méouge, Buëch, and Durance are part of the world’s largest biodiversity conservation network: Natura 2000, the European network of natural areas. These three rivers feature numerous natural habitats and remarkable flora and fauna.
