Description

After setting out along the road to St Geniez (with numerous scenic viewpoints), the route leads to the Dromon Chapel and descends along a very pretty trail to the bottom of the Vançon Valley.
The ascent follows a track and then a trail up to the Col de Mounis (1,234 m).
A traverse along a track leads to the Col de Fontbelle (1,304 m), and a final descent along a trail brings you back to the village of Authon.

Access and parking

From the roundabout north of Sisteron, take the D 951, then the D 3 to Saint-Geniez. Drive through the village and continue on the D 3 to reach Authon.
