Description
- Behind the fountain, take the road that climbs along the cemetery and quickly turns into a track. Continue on this stony track, up towards the Pas de l'Echelle.
- From the Pas de l'Echelle, after enjoying the panorama of the Alps, turn right onto an almost hidden path that climbs the ridge (Caution: passing a fence). Continue on the ridge until reaching a track that goes downward.
- At the post, fork to the left on the path. Cliff hanging path on the mountainside may impress!
- At a ledge, make a full turn to the left through the broom and climb the ridge that goes straight to the top of the Trainon.
- Departure : Main square, Saint-Geniez
- Arrival : Main square, Saint-Geniez
- Towns crossed : Saint-Geniez and Authon
