This beautiful hike takes place in a somewhat overlooked part of the Hautes Terres de Provence. It offers views of the Durance Valley below the Serre-Ponçon Dam. The viewpoint on the Lachau ridge offers a view of the southern part of the Ecrins Massif and the Ubaye Valley. During the mid-season, hikers will enjoy the trail, which alternates between shaded and sunny sections with varying exposures.

Description

Recommandations

Of the 237 bird species found throughout the PACA region, no fewer than 50 are represented here. The establishment of a breeding bird population is encouraged here thanks to the diversity of the surrounding environment, whether near the village or along the suggested trail (swallows, chickadees, warblers, wheatears, larks, woodpeckers, buntings, golden eagles, short-toed eagles, falcons, etc.).
