Follow the blue Mountain Bike Trail No. 13.
Description
- From the Eyguians parking lot, head toward Laragne.
- After the bar-restaurant, turn left toward Vieil Eyguians and go under the railroad tracks.
- Turn right and begin the climb up the road overlooking the Bestiace torrent.
- At the intersection, take the trail on the right. It winds through the Beaumont National Forest and joins another trail further up.
- At the fork, take the left path and, further on, pass trail no. 3 (marked in red) on your right, continuing straight ahead for about 60 meters.
- At the fork, turn left then immediately right onto a trail. Follow it to the clearing. At the clearing, continue straight ahead along the fitness trail.
- Once in the Vieil Eyguians plain, turn right then left (stone block at the path’s entrance) to go around the ruins of the old village. The trail continues downhill, winding through the woods, and emerges onto the road at the Eyguians cemetery.
- Head back down the road to the left and rejoin the original route. Take the same route as on the way there to return to the parking lot in front of the town hall.

Access and parking
From Laragne (6 km), take the D 1075; in the village of Garde Colombe Eyguians, follow the sign for “Vieil Eyguians.”

On the climb up Vieil Eyguians, you’ll find a small bench where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Mount Chabre, the Eyglière ridge, and the Rocher de Beaumont.
